Your move-in record
- Record the property address, inspection date, and names present.
- Photograph every room and any existing damage; retain dated originals.
- Check doors, windows, locks, fixtures, appliances, plumbing, and visible leaks.
- Ask management how to report concerns about alarms or safety equipment.
- Record keys, remotes, access devices, meter readings where applicable, and the provided inventory.
- Submit your condition report through the approved channel and keep confirmation.
